Faculty of Public Health ventures into academic cooperation with AUT

From the 24th until 28th of April 2014, Mr. Lester Khoo, Director-International Projects International Relations and Development, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand and international affairs team welcomed the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Somsak PIiaksanurat, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wongsa Laosiriwong, Assoc. Dean for International Relations and International Strategy, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunisa Chaikaeliang, Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Hygiene and Occupational Health, Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University.

        The meeting was meant to extend the cooperation in academic affairs and research between the Faculty of Public Health, KKU and AUT University as well as training in English at the language school of New Zealand (AUT International House) which is recognized worldwide and led by Mss. Karen Rutherford Head of the School. From now on the school will offer special rights in the area of tuition fees for lecturers, staff and students of Khon Kaen University who wish to get experience in using English at the AUT International House. People can ask for recommendations from Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunisa Chaikliang or contact Ms. Sunki Min, Administrative Manager or the International Relations Office of Khon Kaen University.

         In addition to cooperation in academics and research, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunisa Chaikliang will spend 3 months cooperating with Dr. Sari Andajani-Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health and Psychosocial Studies, Faculty of Health and Environmental Science, AUT South campus to produce research.
