Research

The Faculty of Public Health encourages involvement in research by identifying research opportunities and providing support in developing grant applications. Many source of research grants are supported including NRCT’s Faculty Research Fund. The research efforts of our faculty are consistent with its overall philosophy: health promotion, prevention, preservation and innovation of human health.

The multidisciplinary research projects are organized in many research programs, which are categorized in three clusters: Health Promotion, Infectious and non infectious diseases, and Environmental Health. Research at the Faculty of Public Health covers a broad range of topics. Its emphasis lies on multidisciplinary applied research including health promotion, nutrition, infectious disease, environmental health, occupational health and safety, biostatistics and health informatics, family health, mental health, health services, and health policy.
